The Markey Escape Rooms brings story-driven puzzle adventures to Midtown Fort Collins, in a retro movie-theater lobby just off College Avenue near Prospect Road and Colorado State University. This family-owned venue earns praise for kind, helpful staff and rooms that are challenging but not impossible, good for birthdays, graduations, and team-building. Two rooms are currently playing, and each runs 60 minutes. In Midnight in Wonderland, the Cheshire Cat has stolen the clock key, and your team must follow the White Rabbit's clues to retrieve it. The room holds up to six players. In Tomb of the Forgotten, explorers unseal a 4,000-year-old desert tomb. That room holds up to eight players. Both rooms are private by policy: every showing is for your group only, and you will not be joined by strangers. Pricing is $30 per adult and $27 per student from kindergarten through college, with a minimum purchase of three tickets. Online or phone reservations are recommended, though walk-ins are accepted if a room is available.
