Henry's Pub

The Rockstar Verdict

A downtown Loveland fixture since October 2004, Henry's Pub pairs the cozy feel of an old-town pub with a more contemporary, urban-flavored menu, and it has spent two decades becoming the kind of place locals recommend to visitors without hesitation. The kitchen prepares food from scratch daily, including salad dressings and sauces. Fish and chips, shepherd's pie, and bangers and mash sit alongside P.E.I. mussels in garlic, basil, and white wine broth, calamari with spicy Thai mayo, and a smoked salmon platter. Standouts visitors mention again and again include the Caribbean steak salad, the bison bangers and mash with huckleberry smoked sausage and red ale gravy, and mahogany steak medallions. Appetizers range from Irish nachos and baked brie to Welsh rarebit, and soups include French onion and a soup of the day. Drinks are a genuine draw: a wide selection of local beers, cocktails made with spirits from local distilleries, and what listings call the best Guinness in Northern Colorado. Family-friendly, with a kids' menu and gluten-free options, Henry's remains one of Loveland's most reliable tables.
