Fort Fun

The Rockstar Verdict

Fort Fun is Fort Collins' big, all-ages answer to the question of what to do with a free afternoon — or a birthday party, a team celebration, or a group of friends who cannot agree on one activity. Set on 14 acres beside Blue Heron Lake, this family-owned entertainment center calls itself Northern Colorado's premier family entertainment, and the sheer range on offer backs that up: outdoor and indoor attractions side by side, so a change in weather never has to end the day. Start outside, where the quarter-mile go-kart track lets drivers race side by side, and two 18-hole mini-golf courses wind through themed scenery — one featuring local historical buildings and area landmarks. Seasonal attractions include bumper boats and paddle boats in summer and outdoor ice skating in winter. Inside: a multi-level alien-planet laser tag arena for ages five and up, plus bumper cars, mini-bowling, air hockey, arcades, a shooting gallery, and escape rooms. Auntie Stone's Kitchen serves made-from-scratch pizzas, burgers, and snacks, with beer, wine, and cocktails for adults. Birthday parties and group outings are the venue's specialty, with play-and-food packages.
