Loveland

East End Ale House

The Rockstar Verdict

At the east end of historic downtown Loveland, East End Ale House is a friendly neighborhood tavern and pool hall that wears its priorities plainly: good beer, good games, and a relaxed room where you can spend a whole evening with friends. Its own description sums it up as two full bars with 22 taps, 10 televisions, nine pool tables, and three dart boards, plus events and good food. Pool is the headline activity — with nine tables, this is Loveland's pool-night headquarters, with room for casual games, serious players, and groups rotating through tables all evening. Darts offer a second classic bar game, and the televisions keep sports in view without dominating the room. The food menu is deliberately simple and satisfying: hot dogs including the signature Angie Dog, barbecue plates such as the Piggin' Out BBQ offering, and visitor-favorite fries and wings. Events give each night its own flavor: karaoke on Wednesdays and Saturdays, open mic on Thursdays, and live music on Fridays. It is best suited to groups of friends, pool players, karaoke singers, and anyone who wants a lively but unpretentious downtown night.
