A massive, community-wide kickoff to the holiday season as downtown Fort Collins illuminates 65,000 lights.
Cancel whatever else you had planned because the official Downtown Holiday Lighting Ceremony is taking over Fort Collins. Every single year, the entire community packs into Old Town Square Click to open side panel for more information to watch the historic brick alleys and hundreds of trees light up with over 65,000 glowing holiday lights. It’s an absolute visual masterpiece and the ultimate winter kickoff. Grab a coffee or a hot chocolate, enjoy live local music starting at 5:30 PM, and count down with the crowd until the switch flips right at 6:30 PM. From there, the lights stay on every night through Valentine's Day, but there is absolutely nothing like the electric energy of Opening Night.
